These side effects usually go away or become less noticeable after the first 3 months of use. Stop taking Yasmin and seek medical attention if you experience any of the following: allergic reaction, sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, pain in calf muscle, coughing of blood, sudden severe headache, dizziness, fainting, vomiting, changes in vision or speech, weakness, numbness in the arm or leg, yellowing of the skin or eyes, fever, fatigue, stomach pain, loss of appetite, dark-colored urine, new or changing breast lumps, light colored stools (possible liver problems), depression, or insomnia.
